On your way back, when you are getting hungry, take a detour to Chinatown for some food stands and restaurants. Don’t miss to make a reservation though! If you are up for more art, stop by the Art Gallery of Ontario. Back at Nathan Phillips Square, you should not forget to take a gay selfie in front of the illuminated Toronto Sign.
Up for more? Up for some shopping maybe? Plan a shopping tour starting at the Eaton Center Mall, continue shopping at the Yonge-Dundas Square and do not forget to include a visit to the gay shops at The Gay Village (The Church & Wellesley) like at Men’s Room. Once you are at Toronto’s gay neighborhood, get in touch with the LGBT community on Sundays during Drag Brunch at Glad Day Bookstore or later on while dancing the night away in bars and clubs like Woodys, Cruise and Tango, Buddies in Bad Times, and the Black Eagle. Last but not least of our Toronto Gay Travel Guide, go to the shore of Lake Ontario, the harbor area in Downtown and jump on a ferry to the Toronto Islands on Lake Ontario. On multiple islands, you will find a Gay and Nude Beach and the tiny Centreville Theme Park. We found the best view over Toronto’s skyline just a view minutes walk away from Centre Island Pier.
